The Expendables 3 has gotten a massive casting shift, according to series star Sylvester Stallone. Stallone took to Twitter, announcing that The Expendables and The Expendables 2 co-star Bruce Willis has exited the third film in the franchise.

"Willis out…Harrison Ford in!" Stallone said via Twitter. "Great news! Been waiting years for this."

Willis played Church in an Expendables cameo, a role that was upgraded to a full role in the sequel. He was expected to make a return for the third film in the franchise alongside fellow action hero icons Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li and more.

Stallone followed up his Tweet announcing the cast shift with a comment likely meant to apply to Willis, and perhaps shedding more light on why the change occurred.

"Greedy and lazy," Stallone said. "A sure formula for career failure."

Directed by Patrick Hughes with a screenplay by Stallone, Dave Callaham and Richard Werk, The Expendables 3 stars Stallone, Ford, Schwarzenegger, Satham, Rourke, Lundgren, Li and others. The sequel releases August 15, 2014.
