Official Press Release

Brian Pulido, a comic book writer and creator of such titles as Lady Death and Evil Ernie, makes his feature film directorial debut on The Graves, coming to theaters as part of After Dark Films' Horrorfest 4, taking place January 29-February 4, 2010.

The Graves is about two sisters whose visit to Skull City Mine turns into a mind bending fight for survival against menaces both human, and supernatural. "This is a tale of two hot, comic geek sisters who become monster slayers," says Pulido. "Think of Buffy, The Vampire Slayer meets The Texas Chainsaw Massacre."

The film stars Clare Grant, Jillian Murray, Bill Moseley (The Devil's Rejects), Lamb of God singer D. Randall Blythe and Tony Todd (Candyman). Brian Ronalds and Dean Ronalds of Ronalds Brothers Productions and Francisca Pulido of Mischief Maker Studios produced. Adam Goldfine is the Director of Photography

"Brian's background and knowledge of the horror world has served him incredibly well. He has directed a film that audiences are going to find scary and immensely entertaining. The Graves is simply great, edgy fun and we're excited to have it as part of our line up." stated After Dark Partner/CEO Courtney Solomon.

The Graves DVD will debut in March from Lionsgate Entertainment and it will premiere on SyFy later this year.
