As excited as some Pixar fans may be for "Toy Story 4" and "Finding Dory," what we're really looking forward to is the sequel to "The Incredibles." And now we have the first real update since, well, the project was confirmed more than a year ago: Writer/director Brad Bird has begun work on the script.

"It’s percolating," he told NPR. "Yeah, I mean, I’m just starting to write it, so we’ll see what happens.”

OK, it's not a major update, but at this point we're willing to accept whatever crumbs we can get. After all, it's been more than 11 years since "The Incredibles" arrived in theaters.

So now we can add this tidbit to Samuel L. Jackson's belief that he'll return as Frozone and rumors that Jack-Jack could be the villain for the sum total of all we know about the sequel.
