"Dumb and Dumber To" is the box office champ for the weekend, earning an estimated $38.1 million domestically. "Big Hero 6" and "Interstellar" held strong in their second week, finishing in second and third place, respectively, according to Box Office Mojo.

The sequel to the '90s comedy "Dumb and Dumber" reunites directors Bobby and Peter Farrelly with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels -- reprising their roles as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne -- 20 years after the original was released.

"Big Hero 6" earned $36 million domestically for the weekend, taking in $111.7 million total stateside, and $148 million worldwide, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Disney-produced animated superhero film dropped 36 percent in its second week, compared to "Interstellar" which dropped 39 percent, and picked up an estimated $29.2 million. Director Christopher Nolan's ambitious sci-fi space adventure has now earned $97 million domestically, but has rocketed past the $300 million mark globally, according to THR.

Deadline reports that Walt Disney Studios has now earned over $4 billion at the worldwide box-office for 2014, the second time in the studio's history. The milestone was hit largely in part to four films, including two from Marvel Studios: "Guardians of the Galaxy," "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," "Maleficent" and last year's "Frozen."
