A new photo from Marvel Studios' next film Black Widow offers a fresh look at Taskmaster, highlighting the villain's full costume.

The photo in question -- which evidently originates from Empire magazine -- was shared to the r/MarvelStudios subreddit. Taskmaster can be seen walking along a road. And while the image takes place at nighttime, the details of his armored costume can me made out rather clearly.

In the original Marvel comic books, Taskmaster is the supervillain alter-ego of Anthony "Tony" Masters. He possesses the ability to mimic the techniques and abilities of various superhumans. Created by David Michelinie and George Pérez, the character first appeared in 1980's Avengers #195.

Set before 2018's Avengers: Infinity War, Black Widow finds the eponymous spy on the run following the events of 2016's Captain America: Civil War. Upon returning home, Natasha Romanoff ends up on a quest that not only brings her face to face with not only the villainous Taskmaster, but also the ghosts of her past. Along the way, she will reunite with old allies, such as the fellow Black Widow operatives trained by the Red Room and the Russian superhero known as Red Guardian.

Black Widow was originally slated to hit theaters on May 1. However, while Disney originally asserted Marvel Studios would not be pushing the release date back due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the disease's outbreak has since increased in severity. As such, Black Widow has been delayed indefinitely.

Directed by Cate Shortland, Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, O-T Fagbenle as Rick Mason and Rachel Weisz. The film currently has no release date.
