According to Superhero Hype, a film starring Black Widow is in the cards. While talking with reporters to promote next week’s release of “Iron Man 2,” Marvel president Kevin Fiege revealed, “We’ve already started discussions with Scarlett about the idea of a solo movie and have begun putting together concepts, but ‘The Avengers’ comes first.” While they may have a “Black Widow” movie on their internal schedule, there’s no guarantee it will happen quickly or even immediately after “The Avengers.”
Release date: TBA
Though he’s promoting his new film, “Buried,” Ryan Reynolds is fielding questions about his superhero endeavors. While talking with The Los Angeles Times Hero Complex Blog, Reynolds compares Hal Jordan with Han Solo. “He knows how to throw a punch, tell a joke and kiss a girl,” says the actor. “I like that. Who doesn’t like that?”
Starring Ryan Reynolds, release date: June 17th, 2011
Mark Millar tells MTV News it is okay if the sequel never materializes. “There’s no book [for] ‘Wanted 2.’ I would like to do [the movie]. I say if it happens, great. If it doesn’t, I’m not bothered,” said the writer. Intending only to write the one six-issue series, he has little interest in writing a sequel. “Sometimes I do things for almost no money at all just because I like doing it, so the idea to write a sequel just because the movie was big seems almost unethical,” he explained.
Release date: 2012?

Michael Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly reveals Teri Hatcher will appear on the show as Lois Lane’s mother. “In episode 8, titled ‘Abandoned,’ Lois discovers old videotapes of her mother,” he writes. On the series, Lois’s mother is presumed dead, but you know how that works. With all of these cameos working out, can I just say Dean Cain would make a most interesting, and unlikely, Darkseid? Have you seen his episode of “Special Victims Unit?” He can play bad. Meanwhile, Superhero Hype has a clip from next Friday’s premiere episode, “Lazarus.”
Returns: September 24th, 2010
