Fans in attendance in Hall H for the Marvel Studios panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego got a treat, as new scenes from Black Panther were revealed. Along with that footage came a new poster featuring T'Challa standing atop a black panther statue, overlooking the African nation of Wakanda.

Aside from the majestic shot of Black Panther, we see a high-level view of Wakanda and all its technological wonder. The city below is built in a circular pattern, with various tall buildings reaching high into the sky. There are also three advanced flying vehicles, with two ascending and one descending towards the city. At the bottom of the poster the phrase, "Long Live The King" can be found.

After the events of Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, King T’Challa returns home to the reclusive, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as his country’s new leader. However, T’Challa soon finds that he is challenged for the throne from factions within his own country. When two foes conspire to destroy Wakanda, the hero known as Black Panther must team up with C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Dora Milaje, Wakanadan special forces, to prevent Wakanda from being dragged into a world war.

Opening on Feb. 16, 2018, Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, with Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Andy Serkis, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Sterling K. Brown and John Kani.
