Marvel and acclaimed hip-hop duo Run the Jewels have made mutual admiration for each other very clear over the past couple of years. The latest example is the upcoming second-printing cover for the recently released "Black Panther" #2, in which artist Rahzzah depicts Black Panther and Shuri putting their spin on the "Run the Jewels" album cover.

"Black Panther" #2 was released on May 11 last week, and was announced today as sold out on the distributor level. The issue, the second part of the "A Nation Under Our Feet" is written by the "Black Panther" team of National Book Award-winner Ta-Nehisi Coates and superstar veteran artist Brian Stelfreeze. The second-printing cover is scheduled for release on June 15.

Marvel first paid tribute to Run the Jewels with a pair of variant covers announced in January 2015, which helped inspire the publisher's larger hip-hop variant cover initiative. Run the Jewel's Killer Mike later wrote the intro for the "Marvel: The Hip-Hop Covers" hardcover collection, and the group lent their song "Oh My Darling" to the first installment of the "A Nation Under Our Feet" recap video series.
