Two high-resolution images from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smuag have been released by Warner Bros., featuring Bilbo (Martin Freeman) in a seemingly blissful moment and the debuting Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly) -- a new addition to the Hobbit mythology created by Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh -- aiming her bow.
The Tauriel image first surfaced earlier in the summer, but here it is sans Entertainment Weekly watermark:
