The official “Big Hero 6” Facebook page has posted a new teaser for the Marvel/Disney collaborative animated feature, and while there’s not a whole lot to it, it’s definitely teasing something much bigger: the full trailer of the film set to release in 6 days on May 22.
In addition to the trailer tease, the image also reveals the fist look at the “Big Hero 6” logo. The trailer in 6 days will be the biggest official look at the film to date. Details on everything from the cast to the visuals of “Big Hero 6” have been sparse — though a promotional Disney calendar revealed in March did contain some new images — and the actors currently confirmed as cast are comedian TJ Miller as Fredzilla and “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” actress Jamie Chung as GoGo Tomago. “SNL” alum Maya Rudolph is also rumored for a leading role in “Big Hero 6.”
Directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams, “Big Hero 6” is based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. The film centers in on robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada and his robot friend Baymax as they join forces with a team of freshman crime fighters to save the futuristic city of San Fransokyo (a combination of San Francisco and Tokyo) from a criminal plot. The film debuts November 7.
