"Doctor Strange" will be making some magic on the big screen this November, but -- before that -- he'll stop by San Diego Comic-Con. In anticipation for the big event, Entertainment Weekly has released some new concept art of the character in their SDCC edition of the magazine.

Star Benedict Cumberbatch also spoke of the character, comparing the Sorcerer Supreme to "Sherlock's" Sherlock Holmes, the role for which the actor is best known. "Stephen Strange is a lover, he's a materialist, he's arrogant, but he's got a great sense of humor. There are smatterings of the same colors that Sherlock has, but he's not on the same spectrum," he shared.

Directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton, Chiwitel Ejiofor and more, "Doctor Strange" opens on November 4, 2016.
