If you're an actor in a superhero movie, odds are you're going to walk off set with a souvenir or two -- with or without permission. Ryan Reynolds revealed that he kept a whole Deadpool suit when he finished work on the blockbuster film. Similarly, in a conversation with French site Premiere, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star Ben Affleck revealed that he also took something he wasn't supposed to take from the DC film's set.

"Oh, absolutely! I straight up stole a Batarang," said Affleck, as revealed in a translation of the interview. "I put it in my pocket, thinking I had earned it. The props guy came to come get it and I said no. I thought I had a kind of 'movie star pass' for that kind of thing. I stayed strong and flew off to LA [with it]! The [props] guy was super pissed: 'Fuck that Ben Affleck, who stole my Batarang!' I never returned it."

Affleck didn't have to steal all of his mementos from his time as Batman, though; director Zack Snyder did give him a keepsake. "At the end of filming, Zack gave me an awesome gift: Batman's grappling hook. I was like a little kid."

All this Bat-stuff has even led Affleck's 4-year-old son to thinking he's the real deal. "Anyway it's also funny, my son really thinks I am Batman. And I don't know if it's the colors, but he is sure that the FedEx guy is the Joker. Every time a package comes, 'Dad, the Joker's outside!'"

Directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg and more, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" opens on March 25.
