Fans won't have to await until the Dec. 18 premiere of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" for one of the mysteries of the trailer to be revealed.

Electronic Arts has debuted concept art for "Battle of Jakku," the "Star Wars Battlefront" DLC, depicting that crashed Star Destroyer half-buried in the planet's sands.

Taking place shortly after the events of the Battle of Endor, from "Return of the Jedi," the Battle of Jakku is described as "the pivotal moment when the New Republic confronted key Imperial holdouts on a remote desert planet." The illustration shows Imperial ground troops evacuating the massive starship and engaging in combat with Rebel forces.

“There’s a David and Goliath theme to this,” artist Anton Grandert said in a statement. “The epic, huge super structures of the Star Destroyers contrast against the tiny but brave Rebel soldiers fighting the Imperial forces.”

"Star Wars Battlefront" arrives Nov. 17 for PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. "Battle of Jakku" will be available Dec. 5 for those who preordered the game, and a week later for everyone else.
