In addition to revealing new photos from "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," confirming a few more heroes for the film and offering insight into Lex Luthor and Wonder Women's movie motivations, Entertainment Weekly's coverage also revealed more about Batman's inner struggle.

EW's photo slideshow revealed that the mistrust Batman (Ben Affleck) feels for Superman (Henry Cavill) will intensify after he learns that the Kryptonian is just one of many super-powered beings (or "metahumans") on Earth. The article notes that the reveal of Wonder Woman and cameos from Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg will force Batman to deal with his concern over these powerful beings and his "natural reflex to fear the worst."

"The idea that there are more, that's hopeful and also terrifying to him," said Affleck in the interview. "Because then they could make humans even more powerless -- or they could serve on our side."

Odds are Batman will figure out some way to play nice with the other superheroes of Earth, as they are all teaming up in 2017's "Justice League Part One." That film begins production next month.

Directed by Zack Snyder and starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams and more, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled for release on March 25.
