"Batman v Superman" Shares Armored Batman Pic, Announces Ticket Sale Date

The Dark Knight looks to the skies in a striking new photo, and the film's advance ticket sale date is announced.

Fans ready to be among the first to see "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" as soon as it arrives in theaters in late March will have their chance to get tickets early. Regal Cinemas has announced Monday, Feb. 29 as the date advance ticket sales open for Warner Bros. anticipated superhero slugfest.

Meanwhile, the film's Twitter account has shared another image from the movie, a moody shot of Ben Affleck's armored Dark Knight looking to the rain-filled skies. "Twenty years in Gotham, how many good guys are left?" Batman ponders in the tweet's accompanying text.

Directed by Zack Snyder, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits theaters March 25, 2016, and stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.
