Visual effects studio Motion Picture Company (MPC) has posted a video of its process on the climactic fight scene in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." The video breaks down the many layers, grids and iterations that go into making scenes as complex and explosive as these. Viewers can see how the studio created obvious CG effects, like the character Doomsday, as well as more subtle effects like the digital skyline of Gotham.

MPC has produced visual effects for a number of films, including "The Jungle Book," "X-Men: Apocalypse," "Ghostbusters" and "Fantastic Beasts," with eight Academy Award nominations for Best Visual Effects and one win for the effects in "Life of Pi." The company has posted similar VFX breakdown videos for many of their projects, including "The Jungle Book" and "The Martian."

MPC will also be working on the visual effects for Warner Brothers and DC's upcoming "Wonder Woman" and "Justice League," so if you enjoyed the VFX in "Batman V Superman," you'll likely be pleased with those two films. You can see MPC's full filmography here.
