Artist Clay Mann has released a new piece of artwork for Batman/Catwoman, with Batman: The Animated Series antagonist Phantasm, star of the original animated movie Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.

Mann's updated cover for Batman/Catwoman, which he shared from his Twitter account, features the Bat and Cat in the same embrace from his original cover for the first issue, but this time they appear in the reflection of Phantasm's bladed weapon. Her familiar cloak, mask and glowing eyes take up the remaining part of the art, with the caption, "She awaits you."

Batman/Catwoman writer Tom King shared the same image to his Twitter account as well, noting the January 2020 release date for the series.

Dana Delany voiced the mysterious Andrea Beaumont/Phantasm in 1993's Mask of the Phantasm. Beaumont was a woman from Bruce Wayne's past and ex-fiancée who jilted the billionaire playboy. The movie plays out as Beaumont is revealed as the femme fatale behind the guise of the deadly Phantasm. Hoping to take revenge on the Joker for the murder of her father, Beaumont dressed up as the Grim Reaper-inspired anti-heroine and gave Batman one of his toughest cases.

Beaumont survived Mask of the Phantasm's explosive finale and has appeared a handful of times outside the movie. As well as returning in 1996's Batman & Robin Adventures Annual #1, Beaumont popped up in the Season 2 finale of Justice League Unlimited and the Batman Beyond 2.0 digital comic.
