The Dark Knight and Man of Steel brawl in new footage from "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" that debuted Tuesday night on The CW as part of "DC Films Presents: The Dawn of the Justice League."

In a nearly four-minute segment, directors Zack Snyder, David Ayer and Patty Jenkins emphasize the links between the Warner Bros.' DC movies -- specifically, "Batman v Superman," "Suicide Squad" and "Wonder Woman" -- while stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Jesse Eisenberg elaborate on the dynamics between their characters.

"'Batman v Superman' begins to set the stage for 'Justice League,' when all these heroes come together and fight as a single unit,'" Snyder says. "Suicide Squad's" Ayers adds, "The biggest surprise for the fans is going to be how interconnected these movies are."

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" arrives March 25, followed by "Suicide Squad" on Aug. 5 and "Wonder Woman" on June 23, 2017.
