Batman and Joker are just a few of the iconic archenemies shown ending their respective feuds and making nice in a new ad from McDonald's. Set to the pop song "Love Is Endless" by Mozella, the animated minute-long ad for the fast food giant also features fictional rivals Mario and Bowser, the Smurfs and Gargamel, and Coyote and Road Runner.

"For the last 10 years, everything we've done can be summed up with three words: 'I'm lovin' it,'" explained McDonald's chief marketing officer Deborah Wahl. "It sits at the heart of our tag line, at the heart of our business."

"We are reigniting the lovin' that's been at the heart of the brand since the very beginning," she said of the new ad campaign.

The ad is one of four new ads released by the fast food giant on Friday, following the company's toughest year in at least a decade, according to Nation's Restaurant News, with domestic store sales falling 2.3 percent in 2014.
