James Tynion IV's tenure as the new writer on DC's Batman title is off to a strong start, with the Caped Crusader facing the world's greatest assassin's within Gotham City. With deadly secrets resurfacing and the body count rising, the Dark Knight's new era has hit the ground running.

DC Comics has released an unlettered preview of this month's Batman #87, which shows how the criminal underworld is reacting to the renewed mayhem. As the Penguin overlooks the bloody aftermath of his personal hideout, the Riddler appears traumatized and absolutely terrified of what may be coming for him. The preview pages from artist Guillem March and colorist Tomeu Morey, along with Tony S. Daniel's cover to the issue, appear below.
