Mighty Jaxx, an award-winning independent studio focusing on 3D design, has teamed up with artist Jason Freeny and dissection toy brand Fame Master to launch the first "4D XXRAY Batman" officially licensed by DC Comics.

The figure stands at 9.5" tall and allows collectors to assemble and disassemble the bones and organs of Gotham's Dark Knight. On one half of the figure, Batman's costume can be seen but on the other half, an X-Ray version of the superhero shows off his internal workings.

According to Mighty Jaxx, Freeny used a mix of hard plastics for the transparent shell that allows collectors to see Batman's skeleton and organs. Freeny also used a softer material to make the organs. The figures are entirely hand-painted by Freeny.

Freeny has released dissections of DC Comics heroes in the past including Superman, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl and Shazam.

The collectible will only be available for a short amount of time on Mighty Jaxx's website and will ship in early 2017. One figure is priced at $89.99.
