Although Thanos is finally primed to take center stage six years after his big-screen debut, don't expect Avengers: Infinity War to forget about lingering subplots between its heroes. One storyline in particular the biggest Marvel film yet will explore is the budding romance between Vision and the Scarlet Witch.

"In any other world I would say, 'I don’t know,'" Scarlet Witch actress Elizabeth Olsen told We Got This Covered, "but because there are paparazzi photos that kind of spoil things for fans, I think it’s safe to say that we now get to explore that part of the comic book. We get to introduce and really explore their relationship. It creates a really exciting arc for me and I’m so lucky I get to work with [Paul] Bettany all the time now."

After Joss Whedon planted the seed of a relationship between the two characters in Avengers: Age of UltronCaptain America: Civil War doubled down by showing them together in poignant scenes.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War boasts a sprawling ensemble cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie. The film arrives in theaters May 4, 2018, with the untitled sequel opening May 3, 2019.
