When Avengers: Infinity War footage debuted exclusively at D23 Expo and Comic-Con International in San Diego this summer, fans not fortunate enough to be in attendance for either event were left wondering how long it would be until they got their first glimpse at the MCU's upcoming superhero ensemble blockbuster. Well, according to Marvel Studios co-president Louis D'Esposito, fans will need to remain patient, at least for the time being.RELATED: Bautista Exposes His Inner Fan, From Blade Runner to Infinity WarAfter eager fans probed both D'Esposito and Kevin Feige about the status of the Infinity War trailer on Twitter, D'Esposito responded with some brief reassurance, stating that he was very pleased with it. However, he then reiterated that the trailer has yet to be finished, leaving no clues as to when fans can expect to see it in its completion.

According to those in attendance, the Infinity War footage screened at D23 and SDCC demonstrated Thanos’ might as he confronted members of both the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy in his quest to complete his Infinity Gauntlet and attain infinite power. The final shot then put that power on display as Thanos used the Gauntlet to pull down an entire planet on the opposing heroes.
