Marvel's "Avengers: Infinity War" and its untitled sequel will reportedly begin filming Monday in Atlanta, where production of "Black Panther" is already under way.

The news comes from Collider Editor-in-Chief Steven Weintraub, confirming an earlier report that cameras would roll sometime this month at Pinewood Atlanta Studios, which was previously used for "Ant-Man," "Captain America: Civil War," "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" and "Spider-Man: Homecoming."

If production of "Infinity War" does indeed kick off, we can probably expect official announcements from Marvel Studios sometime Monday announcing the start of principal photography on both the "Avengers" film and "Black Panther," as well as confirmation for their respective casts.

For "Infinity War," that will be a long list, as the sprawling production is expected to draw in most of the players from the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe. Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Pratt, Jeremy Renner, Benedict Cumberbatch, Brie Larson, Josh Brolin, Karen Gillan and Zoe Saldana are among those already confirmed, but they're only the tip of the iceberg.

It's directed by Joe and Anthony Russo ("Captain America: The Winter Soldier," "Captain America: Civil War"), who began offering glimpses of pre-production as early as September.

"Avengers: Infinity War" arrives May 4, 2018, followed by an as-yet-untitled sequel on May 3, 2019.
