Production on Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War is in full-swing, with rumors swirling about that two members of the Avengers team are on their way to Scotland in order to shoot scenes for the anticipated ensemble blockbuster.

UK outlet ChronicleLive reports that Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Downey Jr. might arrive in Durham, Scotland to film scenes for the massive Marvel movie; Chris Hemsworth was in Durham last week to shoot his scenes.

The Durham Cathedral closed again on May 9, likely meaning that more Avengers filming is underway. Some lucky fans just might be able to see peeks of Tony Stark and Nick Fury.

While the film's plot itself is still tightly under wraps, ChronicleLive reports that other scenes have been filmed at Edinburgh's Royal Mile, including an practical effects scene involving a blown-up truck.

Avengers: Infinity War is the Marvel film that will bring the disparate worlds of the Avengers, Doctor Strange, and Guardians of the Galaxy together. Apart from Jackson, Downey and Hemsworth, the film stars Scarlett Johansson, Karen Gillan, Mark Ruffalo, Benedict Cumberbatch, and a massive cast of actors from all three aforementioned films. The cherry on top is that Brie Larson will be official introduced as Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel.

Avengers: Infinity War will be in theaters May 4, 2018.
