AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRONA new, hi-def version of the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Comic-Con International video teaser has surfaced online. Not much more to add, but it's cool to see an Ultron head in hi-def.

GOTHAM"Gotham Central" writers Ed Brubaker and Greg Rucka responded to the news of a "Gotham" television series, which is conceptually similar to their work on the comic book series.

"I don't know anything about that 'Gotham' show, and I have no idea if it's anything to do with 'Gotham Central' in any way. I'm guessing not," Brubaker said via Twitter. "[...] I only point this out because people keep congratulating me and as far as I can tell, this show has nothing to do with Gotham Central. And it's weird to be congratulated mistakenly."

"I was as surprised and delighted as everyone to hear they were making a 'young Gordon' cop show," Rucka said on his blog. "As far as I know, this has nothing to do with 'Gotham Central.'"

RUNAWAYSSomewhat bad news for those hoping for the "Runaways" film to see the light of day any time soon -- "Iron Man 3" screenwriter Drew Pearce said the "Runaways" movie was pushed back to for Marvel to focus on "The Avengers" and now it's currently in development limbo.

"We were really close to being made, and then this movie started to happen called 'The Avengers,'" Pearce said. "Oddly, it pulled focus from the unheard-of brand Runaways, and it really did kind of consume the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's there -- maybe it'll be a Phase Three movie. I really hope so. I'm really proud of it and I think it'll be a brilliant film, but I think it all depends what Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel, his master plan is."

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.New images from upcoming episodes of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." have surfaced both from next week's installment, "0-8-4," and the following episode "The Asset."

Composer Bear McCreary, who scores "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." as well as "The Walking Dead," features in a video called "The Composer Initiative," which details bringing music to the Marvel Cinematic Universe show.

WATCHMENIt's been a while since "Watchmen" has been on the Comic Reel, but Film.com spoke with designer Alex Griendling and accompanied the piece with some rejected film posters -- including four for Zack Snyder's "Watchmen."

"I think that film, in a lot of ways, represents what people would expect from working in the industry," Griendling said of working on the campaign for "Watchmen." "We got to read a script, view tens of thousands of photographs taken during the shooting, view early footage of the film before special effects had been added, and our creative director met with Zach Snyder to discuss his goals with the movie. Naturally, creative directors from a handful of other companies also attended that meeting."
