About Steve Paugh
When Steve became Managing Editor of CBR in 2018, it was the realization of a dream. Superhero-obsessed since his formative days, he became a true fan of comics after reading Infinity Gauntlet #4, in which all of his childhood heroes... died. Shocked into discovering how such a thing could occur, Steve dived headfirst into the medium. This exploration led him into an even deeper dive of literary pursuits, ultimately culminating in a Master's Degree in literature & writing from the University of Edinburgh. For 15 years, Steve traveled the world, teaching English and writing for international outlets along the way. He finally landed at Comic Book Resources in 2015, overseeing lists before taking over as its Managing Editor. Having read it compulsively for years, Steve now spends his days plotting the editorial processes that make CBR The Best Site In The World™.
