ComiXology has announced a distribution agreement with "Attack on Titan" publisher Kodansha Comics that will see the immediate addition of more than 350 manga titles to the digital comics platform.

Beginning today, comiXology users will have digital access to such Kodansha titles as "Attack on Titan," "A Silent Voice," "Fairy Tail," "Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches" and "Inuyashiki," available the same day as print.

News of the deal comes only weeks after Kodansha Comics' parent company, Japanese publishing powerhouse Kodansha Ltd., announced plans to significantly expand its digital reach in the United States through the newly launched Kodansha Advanced Media, and increase the number of titles released in English.

"It's wonderful to bring our deep manga library to comiXology and their passionate audience," Alvin Lu, general manager of Kodansha Advanced Media, said in a statement. "We're thrilled to provide a significant boost to comiXology's manga selection with some of the most-talked-about new manga series, such as 'Noragami,' 'The Seven Deadly Sins' and of course 'Attack on Titan.'"

The Kodansha announcement arrives just a day after the comiXology debut of Viz Media's "Weekly Shonen Jump" digital manga magazine.
