There's an inherent weirdness to "Attack on Titan: Junior High." After all, it's based on the comedy manga that reimagines the cast of Hajime Isayama’s "Attack on Titan" -- a serious, violent post-apocalyptic fantasy -- as students at a junior high school. But the upcoming anime series is about to get even weirder.

Crunchyroll reports that each episode will feature a pair of live-action segments starring the show's voice cast.

The first, called "Advancing! Treasure Hunt," will feature actors Yūki Kaji, Marina Inoue, Yui Ishikawa and Tomohisa Hashizume as students who must overcome challenges in their search for -- you guessed it! -- buried treasure. The second, "Sasha Tries It By Herself," spotlights Yū Kobayashi (the voice of Sasha Braus) has she undertakes solo challenges, with the support of Titan-kun.
