This fall, The CW could unveil a new kind of crossover event for DC fans, and the star that lead the way to make it all possible expects it to lead to a truly memorable week of television.

With "Supergirl" joining "Arrow," "The Flash," and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" on the network next season -- all shows under the purview of executive producer Greg Berlanti -- the time is ripe for a massive crossover of all four shows, and "Arrow" star Stephen Amell is predicting that the superhero team-up will air across one single week as a four-night extravaganza.

Speaking to a panel of fans at Wizard World Philadelphia, Amell, whose turn on "Arrow" was the DC success story that subsequent shows were spun out of, weighed in on what he expects from this year's installment of The CW's now-annual TV crossover event.

"I think what we'll end up seeing is one giant four-night crossover," he said, per ComicBook.com. "This is kind of an unprecedented moment in terms of the history of network television. To have four shows [with the] same showrunner," he explained, referring to Berlanti.

During last year's "Supergirl"/"The Flash" crossover, it was explained that Kara's National City was on a different world than Barry's Central City, but the detail is easily remedied, according to Amell. "Obviously 'Supergirl' is in a little bit of a different universe, but we can fix that. That's one line of dialogue and it's all fixed. So I would suspect Oliver will be meeting Supergirl at some point."

Never mind meet her -- it sounds like the crimefighters might end up spending a week together.
