Although "Arrow" actress Lexa Doig recently had to "plead the Fifth" to CBR when asked whether Talia al Ghul might move from flashbacks and into the present day on the CW drama, it is happening -- and soon.

"We will see her in the present day," executive producer Marc Guggenheim told Entertainment Weekly. "What she wants from Oliver in the past is very different from what she wants from him in the present."

A daughter of Ra's al Ghul, Talia was introduced in the Feb. 1 episode as part of the Russia flashback sequences as Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) sought to take down Kovar.

Guggenheim revealed that Oliver will remain ignorant in the flashbacks about Talia's family ties -- and that he doesn't know her last name. "Oliver couldn't have heard it, because if he had, when Ra's talked about his daughter he’d be like, 'Yeah, the other daughter, I met her back in Russia,'" he said. "We were very cognizant not to retcon anything. So yes, she is Talia al Ghul, but Oliver obviously doesn't know that."

With just eight episodes remaining in "Arrow's" fifth season, we can probably expect Oliver to learn the mystery of Talia's identity soon. This weekend's episode, "Checkmate," will bring Oliver closer to the truth about Prometheus, while Felicity struggles with her new relationship with Helix.

Airing Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, "Arrow" stars Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne and Echo Callum.
