SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "A Moment of Truth," the latest episode of "Arrow."

John Diggle has a very big problem. Over the first few episodes of "Arrow" Season 5, his first mission went south in a big way, but it had nothing to do with how he handled the situation. His superior intended to sell the weapon they were sent to recover, which he then framed Digg for after Digg discovered the plot. Now, Digg has ended up in a jail cell -- with none other than Floyd Lawton, aka Deadshot.

But here's the twist: Deadshot isn't actually in jail with Digg. After all, Deadshot died during his last mission with the Suicide Squad. Rather, Digg is imaging Deadshot in the cell with him. When Lyla came by to visit Digg in prison and promise she would help get him out, he referenced his discussion with Deadshot, only to turn around and realize that he was alone in his cell.

When the episode opened, Digg returned to his cell after a chat with Lyla, only to discover Deadshot waiting from him. The two butted heads immediately. However, Digg soon broke down and admitted that he had killed his brother Andy himself. This conversation seemed to lead to Digg's call at the end of the episode, wherein he told Lyla he didn't plan to challenge the accusation. Horrified, Lyla demanded to know why -- then realized he felt he belonged in prison, as he was responsible for Andy's death.

As the promo for "Penance" goes to show, Lyla will turn to Green Arrow for help. Oliver plans to break Digg out of prison to help his friend, though his team immediately disagrees. It seems as though Green Arrow will have to face both prison security and Team Arrow in order to help Digg out.

Starring Stephen Amell as the Emerald Archer, "Arrow" airs Wednesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, John Barrowman, Willa Holland and more.
