It won't be all doom and gloom in the sixth season of Arrow ... to start with, at least. Star Stephen Amell has revealed Oliver Queen will smile a lot more at the beginning.

Appearing over the weekend at Heroes & Villains FanFest in Secaucus, New Jersey, Amell said his character has been happy in the Season 4 episodes he's filmed thus far.

“It’s a strange thing," he said. "Oliver actually this season is a very contented individual. At least so far. Methinks that will probably change, based on just 120some episodes of history. But I’ve seen three episodes and he’s smiling a lot more. ... It’s nice as an actor to not be a stick in the mud all the time.”

Amell also revealed viewers will see a new suit for Green Arrow, and he'll use a new trick arrow during November's Arrowverse crossover, which includes Arrow, The Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl.
