Ollie and Anatoly first met while prisoners of Anthony Ivo, and formed a quick bond. They've remained secret allies ever since. Because the two share a mutual friendship, Anatoly invited Queen to become a member of the Russian mafia branch called the Solntsevskaya Bratva.

Queen has frequently used his Bratva connections to acquire information otherwise unavailable. There’s a good chance this episode, titled “Bratva,” will delve into those very mafia connections.

“Bratva” will also address Quentin Lance’s (Paul Blackthorne) drug addiction and subsequent stint in rehab. Having just returned from rehab, Lance must come to terms with his past when reporter Susan Williams (Carly Pope) requests an interview regarding his drug habit. Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzalez) must step in to make sure things stay on track. Here's the official description:

OLVIER RETURNS TO RUSSIA — A mission takes Oliver (Stephen Amell), Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and team to Russia where they meet up with Oliver’s old friend, Anatoly (guest star David Nykl). Meanwhile, fresh out of rehab, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) returns to the mayor’s office ready to get back to work. However, when Susan (guest star Carly Pope) asks for an interview with Lance to discuss his addiction, he balks and it’s up to Rene (guest star Rick Gonzalez) to help keep things on track.
