Fans have been hearing about the return of Deathstroke to Arrow for awhile now, but they can now say they finally know for sure when Slade Wilson is making his official comeback to the show.RELATED: Arrow Casts Kirk Acevedo as Richard DragonExecutive producer Marc Guggenheim tweeted out a picture of the cover sheet for the fifth episode of the upcoming Season 6, which directly calls out the return of Deathstroke in perhaps the most obvious way possible. The producer jokingly mentions that he tweeted the title "Deathstroke Returns," with actor Manu Bennett tagged, for fear that he was being too subtle.

According to the episode's cover sheet, "Deathstroke Returns" will be directed by Joel Novoa, who previously directed the Season 5 episode "Dangerous Liaisons." Ben Sokolowski (Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow) and Spiro Skentzos (Grimm) will write the episode.

Slade Wilson was last seen in the Season 5 finale when Oliver Queen recruits Bennett's character from the island. Slade is no longer powered by Mirakuru or as hateful toward Oliver.

Filming for "Deathstroke Returns" is scheduled to start on August 24 and run through Memorial Day Weekend. Season 6 of Arrow will premiere on October 24, 2017.
