Dolph Lundgren is headed back to the "Arrow"-verse. As he told Entertainment Weekly, the "Expendables" star is slated to return for another three episodes of "Arrow" Season 5.

"I'm going back at the end of the season," Lundgren revealed. "I'm doing three more [episodes], trying to work it in somehow."

"I have a lot of fun, because my character talks quite a bit, which is nice, and he’s kind of comedic," he added.

Lundgren, of course, plays the Russian mob boss Konstantin Kovar, Oliver’s chief antagonist in this season's flashbacks. He has appeared in only one episode so far, but he has maintained a continual presence on the show. After all, Talia has been gearing Oliver up for a big showdown with him, which suggests Kovar and the Arrow will clash before the season ends. Seeing as Lundgren has confirmed his season-end return, this seems more likely than ever.

Back in November, star Stephen Amell weighed in on Lundgren's involvement in this season's flashbacks, saying, “I do think it would have been a missed opportunity in the last year of these flashbacks to not have a really worthy adversary. We found that in Dolph, which is why he’ll be around for a while. It’s been a blast to work with him. It’s been awesome.”

Starring Stephen Amell as the Emerald Archer, “Arrow” airs Wednesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, John Barrowman, Willa Holland and more.
