Manu Bennett returned to The CW as Slade Wilson for the Season 5 finale of Arrow to help Oliver Queen defeat his nemesis Prometheus and rescue his family and friends. While the status of Arrow's supporting cast remains up in the air, Slade's guest-appearance marked his return to The CW series after a lengthy absence in which the former villain was locked away on Lian Yu.With the Mirakuru out of his system, Deathstroke has redeemed himself and looks to be a changed man. Though it remains to be seen whether he'll return for Arrow's sixth season, Bennett would like to see Deathstroke star in his own original series, going so far as to encourage fans to petition Warner Bros. as well as Arrow executive producers Mark Guggenheim and Greg Berlanti for a spinoff.RELATED: Arrow Recap: Season 5 Finale Ends on a Massive Cliffhanger

When a fan asked for a spinoff, Bennett replied, "Everybody who wants a #deathstrokeoriginalseries needs to rally @DCComics @WarnerBrosEnt @GBerlanti & @mguggenheim @netflix" and included fan art of a potential Deathstroke logo. What's curious is that instead of including the Twitter handle for The CW, Bennett chose to ping Netflix, suggesting that the streaming network would make the perfect home for a spinoff.

Starring Stephen Amell as the Emerald Archer, Arrow moves to Thursdays at 9pm ET/PT on The CW next fall. The series also stars Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, John Barrowman, Willa Holland and more.
