"Firefly" and "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" actress Summer Glau has been cast in a recurring role for the second season of "Arrow."

According to TV Line, fan-favorite actress Summer Glau has been cast in a recurring role for the second season of the CW's "Arrow." Glau will play Isabel Rochev, Vice President of Acquisitions for Stellmoor International, a company hoping to take over Queen Consolidated. Rochev's name was also glimpsed on Robert Queen's list in the first season of the series, and Glau's character will understandably be set up as a new adversary for Oliver Queen.

The character as seen in DC Comics was created by writer J.T. Krul and artist Diogenes Neves in the 2010 relaunch of "Green Arrow." During the course of the series, Isabel became the new CEO of Queen Industries many years after the death of Robert Queen with the goal to make the company great after many years of floundering. Believing herself to be the true heir to the company and the love of Robert Queen's life, Isabel had two goals: to bring Queen Industries back to a thriving company and to kill disgraced son Oliver Queen.

Although no further details were given about Glau's character or her presence on the show, more will likely be revealed during the show's presence at Comic-Con International 2013.

"Arrow's" second season debuts October 9 on the CW.
