The hood isn't always greener on the other side. In her last "Arrow" appearance, Evelyn Sharp -- a.k.a. Artemis -- showed her true allegiance and revealed she was all in with Prometheus, this season's Big Bad. While Team Arrow is up to their quiver with smaller issues, like replacing Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) with a new Black Canary, the threat of Prometheus continues to loom over them. Though the former Team Arrow member remains by his side for now, it appears she may come to regret that decision the next time she is on the show.

Speaking with TVLine, "Arrow" executive producer Wendy Mericle said the show's writers have been working on a plan to bring the character back. "We have a really cool, exciting twist for how she’s going to reappear," she stated. "The interesting thing about the choices Evelyn has made is that as much as she took the moral high ground when confronting Oliver, she has allied herself with someone who is even worse."

Evelyn made her choices for what she believed to be the right reasons, even though it meant aligning herself with someone with less qualms about killing than Oliver Queen. There is no word on when she will reappear, but it doesn't seem like it will be going well for Artemis the next time she sees her former teammates. According to Mericle, “She’s gone from the frying pan into the fire.”

Airing Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, “Arrow’ stars Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne and Echo Callum.
