There's not a whole lot to report here, since the news is basically that there is no news. If you've been paying attention to the larger world of entertainment reporting, particularly the celebrity gossip circles, then you know that Arnold Schwarzenegger has been having some troubles in his private life. I'm not going to get into it here, largely because I think that kind of gossip is a waste of our collective time on Spinoff. We're here to appreciate the art, not gawk at the human zoo. That's true for me, anyway. You want dirt, go read Us Weekly.

Schwarzenegger's private life is a topic today because it has now affected his professional life. A statement released to MSNBC by the actor-turned-politician-turned-actor reveals that all of the projects he was or might have been working on have officially been put on hold. There's no timetable given, for reasons that should be fairly self-evident.

The statement reads: "Gov. Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines. This includes Cry Macho, the Terminator franchise and other projects under consideration. We will resume discussions when Gov. Schwarzenegger decides."
