Anthony Hopkins and Evan Rachel Wood are all set for a trip to Westworld. HBO ordered a script from Bad Robot and Jonathan Nolan in September, but has now picked it up to pilot.

The series is an adaptation of Michael Crichton's 1973 film, set in a resort called Delos that allows high-paying visitors to stay in one of three areas that recreate various times and places from history utilizing robots instead of actors: West World, Medieval World and Roman World. Unfortunately for guests, a virus runs through the computer systems causing a robot rampage.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hopkins will play Dr. Robert Ford, the creative director, chief programmer and chairman of the board of Westworld, while Wood will portray Dolores Abernathy, the quintessential farm girl who discovers her idyllic existence is a lie.

Nolan and Lisa Joy (Pushing Daisies) wrote the pilot script and will serve as executive producers with J.J. Abrams and many others.
