Anne Hathaway will produce and star in a sci-fi action comedy called "The Shower."

TheWrap reports the film opens at a baby shower, where the guests witness a meteor shower that transforms men into aliens, leaving the women to fight to save themselves and the world.

Jac Schaeffer wrote the script, which last year landed on the Blacklist, the annual listing of the best unproduced Hollywood screenplays. Hathaway will produce alongside her husband Adam Shulman, Andrew Lauren, D.J. Gugenheim and Schaeffer.

There's no studio attached, but the search is under way for a director and cast.
