Anne Hathaway really liked playing Catwoman. Like, really, really liked playing Catwoman. In fact, she liked portraying Selina Kyle so much that she started crying in the middle of an interview after being asked if she would want to reprise the role in a potential Catwoman spinoff to The Dark Knight Rises. Don't believe us? Watch the above interview.

The Access Hollywood interviewer brought up how much she would love to see Hathaway involved in a Catwoman spinoff, which has been rumored since Hathaway stole the show in the conclusion of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. After it's explained the project is merely Internet conjecture, Hathaway opened up about how much she misses playing that character.

"I would love it. I actually, it's so embarrassing, I was at a press Q & A thing the other night for a screening of The Dark Knight, and the moderator asked me, 'So what was it like to say goodbye to the character?' And I burst into tears, because I miss her," she said. "It just makes me cry. I miss her. I love Selina so much and I love her presence in my life and getting to ... I'm crying again."

It's true, she did start crying. But at least she should hold out some hope that, even if there aren't "enough Kleenex in the world," a Catwoman movie could be somewhere down the road. Warner Bros. is gearing up for Justice League movie that will come out in 2015, and it will need a fully fleshed out cast of characters. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is already rumored to play Batman in the film (his representatives have denied it), so why not let Hathaway back? She seems to really, really need it.
