American Dad!, the animated comedy created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman, will move from Fox to TBS in late 2014 for its 11th season. Encores will air on Adult Swim, which already carries reruns of the show.

The series, which premiered in 2005, centers on conservative CIA agent Stan Smith (voiced by MacFarlane), his moral if occasionally inappropriate wife Francine (Wendy Schaal), their rebellious 18-year-old daughter Hayley (Rachael MacFarlane) and nerdy 14-year-old son Steve (Scott Grimes), and the devious and depraved alien Roger (Seth MacFarlane) and the sage talking goldfish Klaus (Dee Bradley Baker).

"American Dad! is a great fit for TBS, a favorite of comedy fans who like smart, irreverent humor with ample doses of biting wit and skewering satire," TBS's Michael Wright said in a statement. "We look forward to welcoming Seth MacFarlane and the rest of his team as they bring this iconic show to TBS."

The cable channel has ordered 15 episodes.
