Several new photos from the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" set have surfaced online thanks to Proibidoler via ComicBookMovie.com, showing "Arrow" star Stephen Amell with Casey Jones' trademark hockey stick and mask. Though Amell has previously been sighted on set, this is the first glimpse of the character in his crime fighting getup.

Casey Jones -- a hockey mask-wearing crime fighter armed with various sporting goods used as weapons -- first appeared in 1985's "Raphael" #1, by franchise co-creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The character was played by Elias Koteas in the first and third "Turtles" films, and voiced by Marvel Studios' Captain America, Chris Evans, in the 2007 animated feature.

Directed by franchise newcomer David Green,"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" is scheduled for release on June 3, 2016. Its predecessor, the first live-action "Ninja Turtles" film in more than two decades, was released last summer and earned $485 million in worldwide box office.
