While much of the first season of AMC's "Preacher" dedicated to fleshing out the backstories of Jesse Custer and his hometown beyond what the comics ever did, the Comic-Con International trailer for the final few episodes indicates that next year will see the show align more closely with Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's Vertigo series.

The video is a spoiler-filled glimpse of the final episodes of Season 1, offering a glimpse of the current state of Jesse's hometown, his reason for deciding to leave, and more examples of Odin Quincannon's unique brand of crazy. Perhaps the biggest moment, however, is the revelation of how the Saint of Killers will find himself hunting down Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy.

Executive produced by Sam Catlin ("Breaking Bad"), Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen ("This Is The End"), "Preacher" airs Sundays at 9 on AMC.
