“Fear the Walking Dead,” AMC‘s companion series to the hit “The Walking Dead,” had the highest-rated debut season for a cable TV series since Live+3 numbers began being tracked in 2005. Needless to say, anticipation for the 15-episode season two is immensely high.
To stoke that excitement, the network has released a promotional video that teases the developments coming next year. “We began by exploring the apocalypse through the filter of a family drama,” executive producer Dave Erickson says in the clip. “Now that the apocalypse has taken over, it’s exploring the family drama through the filter of the apocalypse.”
Kim Dickens, who plays Madison Clark, teases that her character’s “dark past that she has, that she’s suppressed or that she keeps as a secret, probably is going to be the thing that serves her.” The other lead actors address how their individual characters will deal with the apocalypse, as well what they think might happen when the story moves to the boat seen in season one.
