A new featurette entitled “The Amazing Spider Man: Limitless Inspiration” has popped up on the Sony Make dot Believe YouTube Channel featuring director Marc Webb talking about what it takes to make a film like “The Amazing Spider-Man.”

Over at MTV, Chris Hemsworth expounded on the relationship between Loki and Thor for “Thor 2.”

“It’s what I loved about the comics. It was never clean and cut and that’s it,” Hemsworth told MTV. “It was always like, Thor would forgive him, they’d be friends, and Loki would betray him again. ‘You idiot, Thor! Again?’ But it was different than your normal good guy, bad guy scenario. They’re brothers, you know? Anyone with siblings understands that. ‘That’s it, I’m never talking to you again… want to play football?'”

Actor Peter Weller spoke very briefly with about his character in “Star Trek 2” — though he didn’t give fans much to go off of. Although is first response was “I can’t tell you. I’m sworn to secrecy. It’s something very cool,” the actor did all but confirm he won’t be an alien.

“No. Do I look like an alien to you?” Weller said. “No man. Let me put it this way. I have my own ship.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter’s piece on a conference call preceding the ABC upfronts earlier this week, ABC entertainment president Paul Lee mentioned a show about the Hulk is currently in development.

“It wasn’t going to be ready this season but we hope it’s going to be ready for next season,” he said.

“The Hulk” reveal comes after the news of Fox passing on “The Punisher” series as well as a rejection from ABC of “AKA Jessica Jones,” an adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis’ “Alias” series.


Although the interview was conducted before “The Avengers” even hit theaters, director Joss Whedon spoke with The L.A. Times’ Hero Complex and said he was “very torn” about coming back for the potential sequel.

“It’s an enormous amount of work telling what is ultimately somebody else’s story, even though I feel like I did get to put myself into it,” Whedon told Hero Complex. “But at the same time, I have a bunch of ideas, and they all seem really cool.”

The Hollywood Reporter reports screenwriter Scott Z. Burns has been recruited to work on the sequel to “Rise of the Planet of the Apes.” Burns is best known for his work on “Contagion” but has also written “The Informant!” and “The Bourne Ultimatum.” Original “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” writers Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa were also brought back to write a draft of the film.


In a video posted yesterday by BBC America, “Doctor Who” actress Karen Gillen spoke about her enjoyment of NBC’s “Community” and her desire to guest-star in any “Inspector Spacetime” segments.
