While speaking with MTV about “Django Unchained,” lead actor Jamie Foxx also spoke briefly about his role as Electro in the upcoming “Amazing Spider-Man” sequel.
“You’ll see that in his whole life, no one is talking to him. People have stolen his ideas at the big company. He’s a nobody,” Foxx told MTV. “At a certain point, Spider-Man bumps into him and says, ‘You’re my guy. You’re my eyes and ears on the street. Yesterday, a rumor was going around that a script for “Transformers 4” had been leaked. As it turns out, the rumor wasn’t true. Michael Bay debunked the rumor on his personal website, stating the script wasn’t for the upcoming “Transformers” sequel.
“I can absolutely 100 percent say this is completely false,” Bay said on his website. “The only two people in the world that have our unfinished script are Kruger and myself. Also we are only up to page 70 in our T4 script. Maybe this guy has a cartoon or something else – but definitely not our movie!”

SHERLOCK HOLMES 3
Collider spoke with “Sherlock Holmes” producer Dan Lin, who gave a brief production update on the threequel.
“It’s still in development,” Lin told Collider. “Drew Pearce is working on the script and Downey, as you know, is still finishing ‘Iron Man 3’ so we’re waiting for Downey to finish that movie and to get a script from Drew. … It is a high priority for the studio and all for the filmmakers involved… We want to make the right movie. We got a great response to the second movie and frankly the Moriarty character sets such a high bar that we want to make sure we’re telling the right story for the third movie.”
TARANTINO AND LUKE CAGE
In one of the most interesting tidbits of the last 24 hours, MTV revealed that he once wanted to do a “Luke Cage, Hero For Hire” film.
“After ‘Reservoir Dogs,’ I had considered doing a ‘Luke Cage, Hero for Hire’ movie,” Tarantino told MTV. “[Producer] Ed Pressman owned the rights at that time, and we talked about it,” he told us. “I talked to Larry Fish [Laurence Fishburne] about being Luke Cage, and he really liked that idea. Then I ended up writing ‘Pulp Fiction.'”
