AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2Jamie Foxx spoke with Digital Spy about his role as Electro in "Amazing Spider-Man 2," and what to expect when the film hits theaters next year.

"I think with all the Spider-Man villains, there is an empathy to them," said Foxx. "The was we crafted Electro was when he's Max, you definitely feel for him because he's been shut out, nobody cares about him. It's his birthday and even his mom forgets his birthday. You will feel that so that when he does turn into Electro, it's serious venom. He really wants to hurt everybody. When he feels like Spider-Man betrays him, he really wants to hurt him bad."

Meanwhile, Access Hollywood briefly spoke with Chris Cooper about his role as Norman Osborn in the upcoming sequel.

"This is an introduction to Norman Osborn and apparently this leads to better things in 'Spider-Man 3,'" said Cooper. "I think it's fair to say he's on his last legs and I don't know if I can say anything more."

LOCKE & KEYWhile speaking with Collider, Alex Kurtzman gave an update on the long-anticipated live-action "Locke & Key" adaptation that might find new life as a feature film.

"We're going to make a movie! We're really serious. Absolutely! We're really, really serious," Kurtzman told Collider. "In fact, we have locked down on a writer who really came up with a brilliant way to take the best of the first couple graphic novels and play out a complete first movie story with a lot of promise of future movies, which is really our goal. But, I am as in love with it as you are. I believe in it so much, and I believe in Joe Hill. All I want is to make that movie."

"I can't tell you [the writer] yet," Kurtzman continued. "We're very close, though. Hopefully, it will be out soon. We really loved it, too. But, it will live on as a movie now, and hopefully many."

QUEEN & COUNTRYMTV spoke with "Queen & Country" writer Greg Rucka about the recent news that Ellen Page is in talks to star in the film adaptation.

"It's great news," Rucka told MTV. "She's an absolutely tremendous actress... [Producers] Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping, I have incredible faith in them."

As for the script by John Rogers, Rucka said, "To this day, it's one of the best scripts I've ever read -- ever. If that's the kind of thing they're going for, and Ellen Page is Tara Chace, she'll manage, don't worry."

WOLVERINE/SPIDER-MAN CROSSOVERIn an interview with The Huffington Post, "X-Men: Days of Future Past" star Hugh Jackman revealed that he almost had a cameo as Wolverine in Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man."

"In the first 'Spider-Man' -- Kevin Feige reminded me of this -- we really tried to get me to come on and do something, whether it was a gag or just to walk through the shot or something," Jackman told The Huffington Post. "The problem was, we couldn't find the suit. The suit was stuck in some thing. And so when they were in New York when I was there, we couldn't get it together."
